Welcome To Lincoln Gray's Fly Fishing Schools

I offer schools and guided trips to all anglers who wish to gain knowledge and experience in stillwater fly fishing.  During the stillwater schools all technical aspects of stillwater fly fishing is provided to the student in a professional and instructional manner.  Fly Rods, Fly Reels, Flies, Fly Lines, Stillwater Mechanics, Feeding Zones, Fish Location and Presentations are all covered.  Guided trips are also provided to all our locations.

Lake Almanor School - Hex Baby!!!!

The Lake Almanor Flyfishing School is based around the largest mayfly, period.  The Hex!  The Hexagenia comes off at Lake Almanor around mid June and can last all the way through July and into August.  These giant mayflies attract large fish.  Come and experience one of natures greatest hatches. I offer schools and guided trips to anglers on some of the best private water in California.  Digger Creek Ranch  and Clear Creek Sportsman's Club (Coffee Lake).   These two locations offer the anglers diversity and challenges that are very unique.
